In two continents, at the exact time, 5 people who Chris has influenced were baptized! First, on Saturday, at 4:00 p.m., the Engle family were all baptized. Chris worked for them at their store for several years prior to his mission. They wanted to wait for Chris to return from Japan so he could baptize them, but decided it was more important that they do it now, and we all agree! Here are the Engle's with RaLyn and me.
At 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning in Japan, which was about the same time in Arizona that the Engle's baptismal service was ending, Ando was baptized! If you've read Chris' emails over the past several months, then you know all about Ando. Here are pictures of Ando's baptism and a short note Chris was able to send us:
Way bomb. I am so touched and honored that the Engle's received baptism! I hope you gave them all a huge hug for me! Here are some pics from today, we had an awesome and spiritual baptismal service as well. I love you all! What miracles we saw today! The spirit there was incredible, between Sister Traveller, President, Me, and Katanuma, there wasn't a dry eye. It has been one of the neatest experiences of my mission.
