Kartchner Caverns

From October 29 to November 2 we had visitors from Tokyo, Japan!  Sanae Takamoto (Moribe) brought her two daughters to visit, Kasumi (16) and Rinka (14).  We had a lot of fun with them and took them to several fun places here in Arizona.  First stop was Kartchner Caverns just south east of Tucson.  No pictures inside the caves, but trust me, they are amazing.  The caves like just under the hill below in the picture.  The sloth bones were discovered in the cave.

On a side note, Sanae was 14 years old when I taught her family in Tokyo back in 1982.  We have remained close ever since. This was her third trip to visit us.  Her sister, Akiko has also visited.  Their family, including her Mom and Dad, went to Nagoya and visited Chris while he was serving a mission there about 4 years ago.  They are a fantastic family.
