The annual Lake Powell trip was this past week, June 15 - 18. We took Sean Wade with us and the Hansen's brought along Barry's sister and her extended family, for a total of 25 people! Again we stayed the nights in the Super 8 in Page and spent our days in Wahweap Bay, mainly around the Lone Rock area. We discovered a new beach area to the far north west of Lone Rock, up a little canyon area that was sheltered from rough water and wind. A great area! Dinner Wednesday was at the Canyon King, Thursday was Stromboli's and Friday we tried something new...Slacker's. I think this may have been our best trip in the past 10 years or so. The weather was great, not too hot, and we rented a boat this time, since we no longer have the waverunners. So, we had a total of three boats and lots of toys and lots of great food, fun and socializing. We love Lake Powell!

Sister Safety ( Joni) lost complete control this trip and the boys violated her rule of no cliff jumping! The good news is we didn't have any injuries, but beware of the WRATH of Sister Safety!
